Postgraduate and Research Studies
If you are looking to gain experience of working in Indian Public Health Systems, or to gain research experience in rural/urban communities, please contact Dr Kranti Rayamane (kranti.rayamane@gmail.com), and Dr Anand Ahankari (dr.anandahankari@gmail.com).
We generally prefer students with backgrounds in public health, statistics, development, epidemiology and also students in the process of applying for Masters Programs in public health, epidemiology, international health, global health, health in developing countries and similar subject areas. HMF is certainly interested in designing dissertation projects with outlined areas.Students involved in dissertation studies must show that they are admitted in a recognised university and have an identified project supervisor at the university who is interested to collaborate with us. The research topic should be mutually agreed.
We also welcome PhD students who are interested in designing their research projects with HMF. You are required to have an established university affiliation for your academic attachment along with supervision support.
Please note that HMF is not a donor agency to support public health studies, but moreover provides opportunity for young enthusiastic students and early career researchers to initiate research work where an institutional support will be provided. The main purpose of this initiative is to bring research resources to rural and urban marginalized communities for their development. HMF certainly contributes for developing research grants in collaboration with established university researchers to motivate students to take up research studies in public health and related areas.
HMF is interested in collaborations with research institutes and universities to conduct and monitor research projects or demographic surveys.
