Dr. Swati Shiradkar

Completed graduation and postgraduation from Government Medical College, then Aurangabad.
Member, pioneer batch of HALO in 1982 and associated with HALO Foundation since begining Started my carrier as consultant and teacher in MGM Medical College and Hospital Navi Mumbai and Aurangabad.
Worked in that institute from 1986 to 2023 and handled various responsibilities as Head of Department, IQAC coordinator, Chairman of Board of Studies, member of Academic Council etc.
Worked as President of Aurangabad  OBGY society  in 2005. 
At present working as Dean of upcoming medical college namely ‘ ShriRamchandra Institute of Medical Sciences R K Damani Medical college at Chh.Sambhajinagar.

Working for health awareness and health promotion in children, adolescents, their parents and teachers; also in pregnant women and their families, There are more than 25,000 beneficiaries of these activities in last 25 years.Prepared an age appropriate, culturally acceptable, medically accurate module for sexuality and gender related education from small children to adults.
Contributed in 4 books in obstetrics and gynecology, 8 books in local language for health awareness and many articles on different subjects.
Published around 38 articles in national and international journals, reviewer in two journals.Founder member of ‘Sakshama’ an organization working for wellbeing of all female employees in MGM campus, ‘Samwad Setu Pratishthan’ a NGO working for aolesecents.Active follower of Shri Sant Dasganu Maharaj Pratishthan Gorte.
